What is AI Chat Watch?
AI Chat Watch (AICW) is a local CLI that monitors how AI engines cite and recommend brands and websites. It queries multiple AI models, extracts mentions and sources, and generates share-of-voice HTML reports, plus AI visibility audits for your site.
How do I track my brand in AI responses?
Create a project, add the questions you want to test, and define the brands/entities you care about. Then run AICW to fetch AI answers and generate a report ranking mentions and cited sources across the selected models.
Which AI models are supported?
AICW supports OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Perplexity Sonar, and X.AI Grok, and can also run many additional models via OpenRouter (for example Llama, Qwen, and Deepseek).
Is AI Chat Watch free?
The AICW CLI is free to use and stores results locally on your machine. You pay only for the AI API usage from the providers you configure (for example OpenRouter, OpenAI, or Perplexity).
How often are rankings updated?
Rankings update whenever a new report run is generated. Teams run scans weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, and you can schedule runs yourself (or use managed scheduling at aicw.io/schedule).
